HESI Global at the XIX World Water Congress

HESI participated in the World Water Congress, December 2025 in Marrakech, Morocco, where Dr. Sandrine Deglin presented on “Prioritization of agrochemicals in drinking water: A risk-based approach for chemical pollution management” and Dr. Eliana Munarriz (U of Buenos Aires; HESI Board of Trustees) presented “Emerging Pollutants in Aquatic Systems of Brazil and Argentina: Integrative assessment of Pharmaceuticals and Pesticides using environmental monitoring, in vivo bioassays, and the RISK21 tool within a One Health framework.” This is the first time that HESI attended this important conference, and we look forward to creating collaborative partnerships in the future, particularly related to training and capacity building.
